in pratice if you want bookmarks for future reading then save discussion url somewhere or send a response in it

Yes, there is. Q&A posts (as far as I can tell) are automatically bookmarked when created or answered. But you can also bookmark it by pressing the star in the bottom left of the post.

This is a missed feature because if you star a discussion but not send a response, you will not find it in you answer list
