Many must be wondering what's going on in there in fact Deep web is almost 90+ percent of all worldwide Web The one we see is actually surface web which is very very less than even 10%of the whole web Being used by hackers, Secret Institutions, storing research findings of high risk if leaked, Criminals also some just private organizations Data in here is encrypted node by node By multiple servers(this is called routing) hence maintaining anonymity(concept of dark came frm here .The terms dark and deep web arose in 2009 when they were planned to refer distinctly, when illegal activities taking place in deep web were referred to be in dark web due to increased cases of crime in deep web) of host and web surfer to get to know each other hence being useful for some illegal deals for this multiintegrated encrypted Web These codes may be of help https://code.sololearn.com/WBDK3EH3fYqa/?ref=app https://code.sololearn.com/WM2TPscvJ46H/?ref=app Take a look at this https://code.sololearn.com/WU2HkXvs6aQ0/?ref=app

Dark Web ≠ Deep Web Deep Web is all data that is not indexed by search engines. Just sensible data no to be viewed by everyone. The Dark Web is a set of peer to peer networks that have all the data stored in Hard Disks, in PCs, servers of Dark Web users that host the respective files. Dark web is not 90% of the web. Just do the math: search for how much information the surface has stored (data stored in centralized databases like Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc) and ratio that by how much of storage Dark Web is supposed to have of the share, then compare the amount of storage available in Hard Disks in personal computers (remember also that many people don't consume information of the dark web). Let’s calculate it here: Estimated centralized data stored in 2011 - almost 295 exabytes. ⇒ 295 EB = 2.95 x 10¹¹ GB The total world population in 2011 was about 7 billion people (note that not everyone has a computer or even access to the internet but I’m generalizing for you to see the absurdity of this). ⇒ 7 x 10⁹ people Let's say the average amount of storage per person in the world is 500 GB (my safe guess). ⇒ 7 x 10⁹ people x 500 GB = 3.5 x 10¹² GB of supposed data capacity for Dark Web If Dark Web was 90%, as people have been saying it is, it'd have 2.655 x 10¹² GB of data stored (as the surface is 1/10 of the web, the Dark Web must be 9/10) at that time. Now compare the data; the people using it; the growth of the surface of the web. Does the Dark Web being 90% of the web make sense to you? Do you know any frequent user of Dark Web in person? ⇒ 3.5 x 10¹² GB of supposed data capacity for the Dark Web; ⇒ 0.295 x 10¹² GB stored on centralized databases; ⇒ 2.655 x 10¹² GB of supposed data stored in the Dark Web. Dark Web being bigger than the surface is a myth. Deep web though, is another story. I've removed a couple of answers including content that should never, ever be mentioned on Sololearn. I don't see anything wrong with discussing the deepweb, but keep it PG-13, at the most. Some things that can be found on it DO NOT need to be mentioned.

It's not only 'dark' web that contributes to the part not seen by the regular search engines. For instance, the libraries of art galleries and some universities contain a tremendous amount of information which still remains unidexed. Also, the content which requires signing in to be viewed cannot be seen by the search crawlers. There are other examples as well. As for the darknet part (in its 'common' interpretation) - yes, it is also a big piece of data not visible to the 'general public'. Use your skills, imagination and Tor, my friend ;)

the onion sites use a way of encryption which makes it hard for third parties to find who you are and where you are from. this works as following: as the name of the sites suggest (.onion) it has multiple layers of encryption. like the onion has multiple skins. in each of these skins your searched things get brought to a different land/ country randomly. every person that uses the deep web with the tor browser can become a "onionskin", meaning your ip adress is giving the search of somebody random to another random person. this will go on until it eventually reaches a release node, a user that sends the search request to the server where the answer will get sent back to the requesting person the same way as the reqest itself. you can be a release node if you want but you dont have to be one. if your release node and with that your ip sends a illegal request to a server you will be the first person questioned by the policemen why you sent that request. however. i think that is the way of encryption of the tor browser explained quite ok. if there may be questions left i am going to try to nswer them somehow. if i wrote something stupid i am sorry.

Anthony Batilo forget fear, fear is boring #big fear is bad cause it can dramatize you by having you those scary stuff be obscured to you and make you have a mental illness #thu you shouldn't exclude fear from your life cause fear in small packets can make you understand the truth and defend ourselves, even thu it is a scary method # There is no fear only misinformation. You can control it by the sites you visit as Jack Carter said. A lot of sites will try to scare you by animations, sounds, and viruses(use a virtual box)....you should expect this....most of them are art project and they won't bother you. Timon Paßlick it is not hidden, cause u can get tor easily. if you access tor be 18 over or have a parent watch you.

Timon Paßlick I don't strive to be a hacker cause hackers need to be anonymous in order to protect themselves... I hate that mask (with the <censored> name) cause it makes you not be yourself and it silences you as you shouldn't generate any traffic if you are a hacker. Btw, I want to be a graphics designer specialized with pixel shader. So my msgs will not be crappy, they will be awesome and publicly accepted.

Here are some of the sites you can visit on dark web safely * browse fb yeah, the site that steals your personal information has it's own onion site * hidden answers reddit like website, allows you to ask questions anonymously, and literally, you can ask anything here. * tor book facebook like site, with more privacy. * mail 2 tor most secure mailing service with PGP encryption * torch tor search engine * Daniel's hosting service website hosting service and links to more than 7000 onion sites (regularly updated) * 8chan discussion forum * Onion search engine search engine like torch DON'T's * NEVER click on ads most of them are fake and may install malicious software on your device. *DON'T try to BUY something without researching about the site For every real site there are many fake one's, although they removed constantly, it's still better to do your research first continued ...
