Machine learning needs python?

So, i was looking at some of the machine learning and AI videos on YouTube and noticed most of them were writing python. Is it necessary to learn python for machine learning?I know i can use c++/java but haven't noticed much of it. Or is it just because of Tensor flow?

Python is great for prototyping and developing machine learning and deep learning algorithms. It has a rich and growing collection of related modules and franeworks. However, in practice, when you want to have a real-time working application you *usually* need to deploy it with Java or C++ for reaction speed.
