As for how dangerous it is, it's no more or less dangerous than anything else. You still protect your identity, privacy, and device in the same ways that you would otherwise. As well, you're still responsible for whatever actions you take in your life personally.

With that being said, it's harder to track you and what you're doing via the dark web than it is the normal web. That's why it's a hub for illegal activity as well.
