Why can't people use Google?

At least half the questions could be solved by researching on Google. Researching is an essential part of modern life, and particularly programming. Come on people!
Also, a lot of people ask questions poorly. Sometimes not mentioning what programming language or platform they're using, or saying extremely broad questions like "How do I build an entire website?".

No, that's not why I'm saying this. Genuine beginner questions are totally fine, but people should at least TRY to do SOME research first. Somebody asked how do I mail in PHP? If the person had googled 'PHP mail', it was the first result! Half the questions could be Googled.

Easier way to answer it should be:
Google doesn't Interact back to you when you have Sub-question.
Some dumb question could be like:
why is c++ more popular than c#? Isnt both starts with the same C?
Google will show result with keywords "More Popular" "C++" and "C#" etc.
Where this person will get some advance "difference" table for C++ and C#
Not necessorily this person knows it all already.
Now in order to understand it, this person will go deep and get confused even more because of "Human's lack of understanding" and "Google's smarta*s Intelligence"
while if this person post's a Discussion thread here on SL, he/she can interact back and if the answerer is smart enough to understand the level of understanding and knowledge of questioner, the answerer will be give solution the more specific way.
so if questioner asks another question "but both starts with C"
then unlike google, the "smart" answerer will tell him/her the difference between C++ and C# more specifically
PS: I know what you wanted to tell was google can solve most of the questions instantly, which is actually true, but I wanted to give a positive reply so ... 😂😂

To answer the question:
*. Most people are lazy.
*. Some people dunno how a search query.
*. A few people struggle applying a similar problem's solution to theirs.
*. One or two people are just bored and trying to sound like they came up with an intelligent, unique question.
*. Nobody uses the SoloLearn Search even though a handful actually know it exists.
PS: I don't "Google" my problems, I web-search them. With DuckDuckGo. Because I hate modern web culture and how Google became a verb.

I think there is something that is not considered, and is that many articles that you get in Google have technical jargon that a beginner does not understand at all. And that is problematic, because even if they have the answer they may not be able to fully understand it.
In those cases, asking is a great option, since it is very likely that someone will simplify the concept to the main idea of your question and then link you to other useful articles.

I agree.
Some questions are good for discussion, and those are suited for SL, but others are simply yes/no stuff or just definitions. For these, Google would be easier and faster. And you DO get multiple opinions when you look at Google, usually answers that have been filtered through years of up/downvotes on great forums.
It’s not really about having questions, it’s about asking them in an efficient way. But I guess that’s just another thing we learn with time.

Because people are busy and don't wanna waste time, energy, battery power, cpu, muscle and other resources while switching apps back and forth. People want to keep it SoloLearn app alone all day, no impurities.

First of all. You have been born with the knowledge of coding, so you never needed any help when it comes to solving some codes or needed explanation how it works. Thats why you're judging the people if they post some question in the "Discuss" topic.
Some people would like to get personal opinion from someone who is expirienced enough to give them a proper explanation of their question, am I right?
By typing the "Explanation" in the google doesn't solving their problem in understanding that problem in 90% cases.
So if you get offended by someone posting the qustion in the "Discuss" topic you just need to close you're eyes if you wouldn't like to help them.
