What do you need to know to start working as a junior developer?

What is minimal knowledge needed today to start working in some development company and basically change a career. Does knowing only HTML, CSS an JS qualifies for junior developer position? What specific tasks do junior developers do as they get into a developer company? If someone has experience at this subject it would be well appreciated to share with us.

Yes, learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, a JS framework, Bootstrap, Git, Chrome devtools, the command line and if you can build a portfolio. With this you should be good to go for a front-end web dev junior position :) Other threads you might find useful: https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/168318/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/928635/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/630102/?ref=app
