* Now you can @mention peers in posts and comments.
* Bug fixes and improvements.
* push notifications regarding mentions can be turned off in the "Push Notifications" Settings screen

Burey Funny, I used myself as a guinea pig too. Conclusions:
*. Post & @mention are in notifications.
*. You get a floating notification, too.
*. Can @ anyone following the thread.
*. Cannot @self
Seems one may end up with lots of spam based on behaviors:
*. Too helpful.
*. Too confrontational.
*. Unclear posts

Thanks for the info Burey. It's a cool feature.😀 Now you can have better pseudoprivate chat in code comments. create a new private code and mention your friend.
Don't chat in Q/A from now onwards!
Update: I tested a bit with mentions and it seems you can only mention your followers or the people you follow(also no one must have blocked the other person) in private code comments. else that person must have posted a comment in that code or answered the post in which you want to mention them. else it won't display their name or mention.
