Would it be a good idea for me to make a youtube series of me learning languages on SoloLearn, and then use my knowledge to teach and showoff programs that me or others have made.

Depends, but generally what you want to do with your YT channel is of your freedom. Remember that what you put there is "in the wild", and it's common to receive criticism or even attract trolls (considering the nature of learning and how noobish mistakes, bad practices can be made on the go).

This sounds like a perfect opportunity to develop yourself into a mad scientist stunt coder who arrives in people's feeds with "_____* try this at home"
