Well hacking is mostly illegal, don't try it unless you are learning it for the sake of cyber security.
But you definately need to learn C++ for hacking, Python is recommended but optional. C# , Ruby and Java is optional too.
SQL for database injection.
Php , HTML and CSS for webpage management, maybe Javascript too.

u should become familiar with linux, like kali linux(hacking suite), also c programming and becoming familiar with assembly doesnt hurt. Sql is important too, also learnong how to use tool like metasploitable and metasploit and nmap etc... There also tons of books on hacking using various languages like python, c++, c, etc...

Security & Pen testing (hacking) is the only profession left where a university degree is not necessary. I understand there is free lancing, BUT I speak of working for a company at a desk. If your good you get a job. I mean look at how many routers still have the default password set. Just knowing how to find the default password makes you a Hacker. I can not go to university and becoming a Hacker (Security & Pen testing) is where my future lies. Sorry to be off topic.

Grey Hat Hacker(Neutral)
State Sponsored Hacker. Hackers are still LEGAL and other types of hackers are Legal to some extent
