Am I to young to start coding?

Currently I'm in high school! I just hope I'm able to grasp the information, because I truly have a passion for code!

@Jax I'm not entirely sure. I remember someone mentioning 13+, but I'm unaware of whether or not parental-consent plays a factor. If SL wanted to enforce it, I'm sure they'd ask for a birthday during sign-up. I believe that it's likely nothing more than a recommendation tbh, but another mod may correct me if I'm incorrect.

You're never too young to start getting into something you love. When I was five years old my dad would tell me about electricity and how it worked, it interested me so much and I took every chance I could to learn more. Although I didn't know much at first I took everything he taught me and built upon it and before I ever got to highschool I could read circuit diagrams, solder, and repair my friends broken devices such as xboxs and computers. If you have a passion for it, get into it. Even if you are too young to do certain parts of something you can still dive in and learn as much as you can. But that's one of the best parts about programming or working with code, as long as you have a computer (which most people already do) and preferably an internet connection you have all you need unlike other trades where you need many possibly expensive tools.

No way dude! I’m 14 so not high school until next year. I started when I was 13 too, so you can definitely grasp things as long as you pay attention.

You will ! I am way older n felt like giving up... but I thought what else am I interested in... n so far coding has been the most fun and challenging at the same time... if you're stuck on a subject check out YouTube or other resources because you will find at least one person that explained that topic and to you how they explained it will become clear... I've been learning for 3 weeks and all the dots (that was not connecting, finally started drawing connections)! You CAN DO IT!!!!!!

no it is good time for you to start coding it builds skill inside you from this level and you can get easly involved in advance programming when you grow up to adult age😁

You're never too young or too old, heck I even started to learn how to code in my freshmen year in high school but then I stopped. Now I'm in my sophomore year and started try harding, the most important part of coding is practice and have support, remember this age is a number, in some cases.

Age doesn't matter. It's the only number. If you try to do it. you can do it.

I started programming when I was 11 years old and I barely even knew english. In my opinion, the only thing that can stop someone from learning how to program is not having faith in themselves.

As long as you can read, (I mean you say you're in high school so I hope you can read) have a computer, and can type, you can to code. It's all about if you are really passionate and want to learn it.
