[SOLVED] How to make a lesson?

Hi! I want to make HTML5 canvas game, node.js, and mix the two to make a multiplayer network game lesson, but everything is disabled and my lessons look like a 90s webpage. Do I need a certain right/level/badge to make lessons?

To mark paragraphs as a note or code, or change the size of the text or make it bold or italic; one must select the text to be changed.
That is why the items 'appear' locked.
