You have black, grey, and white. Red hat refers to something else. It's not solely based on the morality of a "hacker". Tbh, the word "hacker" is overused. Most people using the word do more daydreaming than actual research. https://www.redhat.com/en

I'm not sure if this is an official term, but Red Hat hackers are White Hats with more agressive methods against Black ones. They won't report about hackers to someone else or fix the security holes, they simply attack Black violators to punish them and eliminate their malicious activity. On the other side, it could mean people from Red Hat company, who work on their own security and the safety of their customers.
