Is it appropriate to ask for code review?

The question is straight forward, however I do want to improve. As a noobie in Coding, feedback is important for me, but asking the community feels like attention whoring...what’s your opinion?

Use the usb in/out, write the output into a midi file and convert it to ascii. You can actually throw away your keyboard and code in Mozart style!
