Unsuccessful apk sending

Hi. I built apk with Android Studio , tried to send my friend it over Bluetooth using Bluetooth file sharer from my smartphone.But it became unsuccessful. First I thought that problem is on my apk sharer app. I tried to send any app using it and it became successful. What is problem ? Why can't I send my app to others ? Info: I didn't generate signed apk , I just clicked "Build APK(s) on Android Studio.
