hi. it's mostly free if you dont want the certificate : coursera or edx. Courses are in video format which is nice to change from text. I'll check on my computer and give you a few links. Edit : Two courses are great on coursera : https://www.coursera.org/specializations/web-applications https://www.coursera.org/specializations/full-stack-mobile-app-development You also have the coding train channel on Youtube, he also has challenges : https://www.youtube.com/user/shiffman/playlists?shelf_id=14&sort=dd&view=50 A set of lectures on javascript by Douglas Crockford : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2ifWcnQs6M&list=PL62E185BB8577B63D And finally another channel on Youtube where you watch him code and learn a lot : https://www.youtube.com/user/derekbanas/playlists

Reddit, YouTube, Udemy, other online sources. Just finished “Automate the Boring Stuff With Python” course on Udemy and liked it.

I use mainly books for the "learning" part. for practice I sometimes use codepen.io as well. and analysing existing code, to see how algorithms are applied in certain problems.

I find Udemy to be the best platform for practical learning, especially when it comes to web/front-end development (although it has interesting projects for mobile apps too!) YouTube also has many VERY extensive and complete programming courses/playlists
