if you complete HTML, maybe is the best path to continue with CSS, Javasrcipt, JQuery, PHP...

thank you...I completed the HTML course and its paying off...I wanted to start another one so I was hoping if I could get advice on the best language to learn to add to my skills

Oh ok. It depends on what you want to do. Video game development uses C++ and C# on the game engine Unity. For web development I suggest HTML PHP and JavaScript. Python is also becoming more used so it is also a good choice.
