Status and level

Hi all, I am new in Solo learn and I want to ask about status and level. What are they actually? because sometimes I see people in Q&A discussion so proud about their status and level, can I unlock new features when I reach higher status or level?

Level and badge status does not matter much in most cases where relevant. It's mostly cosmetic. You can post, upvote, comment, learn just the same as me and other platinum/gold/silver/no status members. The few things that differ are experience points which don't matter much.
There are some exceptions, some badges like quiz reviewer/Gold quiz reviewer (where your vote matters more), Gold moderator(special post editing features and a crown status)/Moderator(powerful reports) and probably the new badges you unlock for submitting lessons, quizzes which may get you popular.
Remember you should focus on learning, self-improvement and sometimes helping others too where possible, it will be much better in the long term.
