How do you resume bitlocker on windows 10 ?

okay so recently I decided to USB live boot Kali linux on my new laptop but i had never done it before. I plugged it in and everything worked but then I had a problem. it asked me for a bitlocker key which luckily I got it and entered it and accepted it. But each time I had to enter it once I turned off my pc to go to windows 10. so I decided to stop bitlocker to fix that issue and it worked. but then I went back to Kali and it seemed fine until I tried to go back to windows 10. then it couldn't find wndows
