What are you motivated by?

Hi ,friends! Studying several languages in parallel, I really see now they have such a lot in common. Studying Java & JavaScript, I really see that they have similar syntax. And for me a very good motivation is to realize that it is possible to learn several languages and also more other ones! It is a very good progress for me. I have read some books. Now i passing two last exams at on-line school of Python.3 and passed interview for the position of a primary Python school teacher. Such a wonderful motivation came to me during the studying of PLs. And also this idea motivates me to study more and more else. So, what are you motivated by?

@Yuri, at syntactic level js and java do bear few resemblence that could be tricky sometimes when learning both , I am learning them both too, but know that js is a more messed up language and will give u more hard times if u go in depth , whereas java is pretty awesome and organised compared to js. so try this, give ur best for java and study in-depth whenever get a chance, but for JavaScript try to study at API level and for purpose based only( DOM,BOM, etc) don't go in language depth, it ll be easier this way. coz it's very messy implementing OOP concepts in JS, coz it was meant to be more functional than object oriented. But due to popularity there are ton of add-ons in JS by ES , which actually are inconsistent.
