Where localStorage works?

I tried the code below:

•it doesn't work on IE
•it doesn't work on Microsoft Edge
•it doesn't work on Sololearn

•it works nice only on Chrome
So does storage work only on Chrome?

I noticed that code above will work while opened on SL page(not app). Even when SL is opened in IE...

Local storage is not allowed on sololearn. I've used it on Firefox and Opera with no problems
