Is a nano-degree worth it?

I love this app and this is my go to. I started with C++ and I practice writing code daily even if it’s something simple. I recently decided to add HTML, CSS,JS to my studies. I want to poke around with Github but I feel I’m too much of a noob. I ran into Udacity and seen they have an intro to programming nano degree but my question is, is it worth it?

Almost everyone's saying that these certificates will be worth it.

I am using Sololearn as a personal intro to certain languages with plans to enroll in a nano degree program via Udacity and from there I'll build my portfolio through work via Github etc.
