what is the different between computer science and information technology?

If you wants to be a IT specialist, you have to learn about CSIT and if you wants to be a computer engineer you have to learn about CSE

Computer science is more to do do with building computers and programming them, and information technology is sort of more 'general' stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong.
