Does anyone have experience with Go?

Question

long story short: want to change careers to back-end development. so I asked a friend currently in that role and he told me to become proficient in Java, Ruby, SQL, and Go? I never heard of Go, but he said it is a up and comer, does anyone have any experience with that language? should I put my time into learning It?

no its new google language but nice language with big data support so learn it
