Challenge Questions
Does anyone else feel like way too many approved challenge questions are actually pure or mostly pure math problems rather than actual questions about the language itself? Or is this something that is prevelant until you gain enough experience to start getting the harder questions? (:

Nah. There's a lot of math no matter what level you are. Challenges are flawed mostly. They do help, but the best thing you could do is practice coding yourself.

Well, each person has their own way of learning 😅
I'm not saying challenges are not worth the time, since I have played over 1000 challenges myself, but I find it better to learn by creating programs. ✌

@Pixie - totally agree on Codewars, wonder why they don't implement something like that here 😃
@Maya - I am 2NSoft over there if you like to add me 😃

@Nikolay. I had sent a mail asking them to host a competition here. No reply yet.

@Maya - I miss Delphi - best language ever 😃

@Maya. If you really want something challenging, you can join Codewars. You learn a lot on the way. Let me know if you do, we can add each other in that case. :)

Actually another very important tip - always review your mistakes and run them through IDLE if you have to, so you understand why the code works the way it does (:

@Maya Ah, I also see you have solved a couple of kata already. Don't forget to compare your solution with the best solutions as well as solutions of the people you're following. It will let you look at the katas in a new perspective. Atb and happy coding!!

@Masquerade
Thanks, I had prerequisites in the form of delphi and VB.net, so it's easier for me to navigate a new language, but I'm by no means "good" at python yet (:

Is delphi still here?

@Pixie
True, they could be improved a lot, but I like the idea, and while they are not the best way to learn, I find rating submissions can be very useful. I constantly run into interesting code snippets there that are worth taking apart and there's so much flawed code that its very interesting to see how much of it I can spot before thinking about why my answer is wrong (:

Oh, thanks for letting me know, didn't know about that one! Just joined, I'm MayaCactus there (:

Everyone added! (:

@Pixie Thanks! Thats a great feature that you can see the best solutions, as someone who only used loops before python I can really appreciate a hundred different ways of using list comprehension for every challenge ;D
